ロングタイプのスイングアーム装着についての注意 PRECAUTIONS FOR INSTALLING A LONGER SWING ARM

ロングスイングアームを装着すると、ドライブチェーンやリヤショック等、いくつかの注意点があります。下記を良く読んで、パーツ交換が必要な箇所を交換して下さい。 When installing the long swing arm, there are some precautions such as drive chain and rear shock. Please read the following carefully and replace the parts that required to be exchanged.

1.リヤショックが沈み込んだ際、外装部品とタイヤが接触しないか確認が必要です。 1. WHEN THE REAR SHOCK BOUNDS, CHECK THAT THE EXTERIOR PARTS DO NOT COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE TIRES.

ノーマルと比べ、タイヤの位置が異なりますので、リヤショックが沈んだ際、フェンダーや、テールランプ、ナンバープレート等が干渉する場合があります。その場合、リヤ廻りの外装部品を交換もしくは干渉しない位置に加工装着して下さい。
外装部品とタイヤが干渉すると大変危険です。必ず、サスペンションを奥まで沈み込ませても干渉しない外装部品を装着して下さい。 Since the tire position is different from stock, when the rear shock bounds, fender / tail lamp / license plate, etc. may interfere. In that case, replace the exterior parts near the rear leg or process and install them in a position that does not interfere.
It is very dangerous if the exterior parts and tires interfere with each other. Be sure to install exterior parts that will not interfere even if the suspension is damped all the way.

2.2本ショックの場合、リヤショックの交換が必要です。 2. IF VEHICLE HAS TWO SHOCK, THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED.

リヤショックの取付位置も異なりますので、必要な長さのリヤショックをご購入下さい。推奨リヤショック長はスイングアームの種類により異なります。1本ショックの場合はサスペンションのセッティングを行って下さい。
ノーマル等、短いリヤショックを使用しても、後ろ下がりのポジションになったり、ショック自体が届かない場合があります。 Installing position of the rear shock is also different, so please purchase a rear shock of the required length. The recommended rear chock length depends on the swing arm type. In case of one shock, please set up the suspension.
Even if you use a short rear shock such as normal, the position may be lowered backward or the shock itself may not reach.

3.チェーンの交換が必要です。 3. CHAIN NEED TO BE REPLACED.

スイングアームが延びると、ドライブチェーンの必要なリンク数も変わります。スイングアーム長、スプロケットの減速比によりリンク数が異なりますので、ご注意下さい。
また、ロングスイングアーム装着時はドライブチェーンとスイングアームの干渉を防ぐため、大きめのドライブスプロケットを装着してください。ドライブチェーンとス　イングアームが走行時に接触するとカチカチと打音が発生し、ドライブチェーンにダメージを与え、最悪の場合、走行中にチェーンが切れてしまう恐れがあります。 As the swingarm extends, so does the number of links required on the drive chain. Please note that the number of links varies depending on the swing arm length and the reduction ratio of the sprocket.
Also, when installing the long swing arm, install a large drive sprocket to prevent interference between the drive chain and the swing arm. If the drive chain and swing arm come into contact with each other while driving, a clicking sound will be generated, damaging the drive chain, and in the worst case, the chain may break during driving.

4.場合により、サイドスタンドの交換が必要です。 4. IN SOME CASES, THE SIDE STAND MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED.

8インチホイールと15cm以上のロングスイングアーム、ロングリアショックの組み合わせは車高が上がり、ロングサイドスタンドが必要になります。 The combination of 8 inch wheels, a long swing arm of 15 cm or more, and a long rear shock raises the vehicle height and requires a long side stand.
